I have done everything suggested on this website to fix this problem, including factory resetting my google home mini, yet still, when I ask it to play a specific song, it tells me that I have to have spotify premium (which i do) and then plays a shuffle playlist of similar songs. I think my spotify is linked to my old spotify account??? If not then I dont know what the issue is.

I’m sorry to hear about the trouble you’re experiencing when playing Spotify on your Google Home Mini device. Let’s further look into it. Open the Google Home app > Settings. Under “Services", tap Music. Does it show “Premium subscription active” under Spotify? If not, unlink your Spotify account and then relink, then reboot your Google Home Mini device. Let me know how it goes.
