I can’t get my google device to connect to my google app

If you want suggestions from us customers (that's mostly who responds in this forum), what's happening or failing when you try to install your Nest Mini in the Google Home app? Is it new? Do you have other Google Nest devices?

Basic troubleshooting steps
Check that you have a strong Wi-Fi or mobile data connection.
Check your storage space.
Check for Android system updates.
Close & reopen the Play Store.
Uninstall & reinstall Play Store updates.
Restart your device.
Clear cache & data from Google Play Services.
Remove & re-add your Google Account.
