Connecting to my phones hotspot

• Okay I connected my phones hotspot to my nest hub 2nd gen but when I go into the Google Home app on my phone to try to do anything, it tells me that my nest hub in my phone has to be on the same at work. How do I make that happen?

I'm sorry you're having trouble setting up your Nest Hub 2nd Gen ― a few questions: is this the first time setting it up? Are you trying to connect to Wi-Fi or directly to your phone's hotspot where the Google Home app is installed? For the set up to work, you need to use your phone to connect your Nest Hub 2nd Gen to your Wi-Fi. Open this helpful link to have a successful set up and tell me how it goes.
