I just set up my Nest Mini and it works well so far unless one simple thing. I am able to start Spotify on my xbox via talk assistance but I am not able to control Spotify on my xbox via voice. When I say "play xxxxx song on my xbox" it says it ist not able to. How does it work? Starting apps and games works.
Hey @skatefanatiker your Nest speaker is working as designed - the issue you're seeing is not a Nest/Google issue but something that may not be permitted by MS. I'd suggest reaching out to MS support to inquire as to whether they will allow that granular of control in the future. Time was it was possible to control apps via voice completely with Kinect or Cortana -- Kinect is dead and I don't follow Cortana capabilities so don't know what is happening on that front.
