Controlling Google Nest Hub Remotely

We got a Google Nest Hub for my elderly mother who lives in another city. We taught her how to do basic things like playing music, etc.

But is it possible to control it, or send pictures, play a song, control the volume, etc...remotely?

How does one do that? is there a tutorial? On one hand google stuff is amazing, on the other it can be very confusing, even for those not all that elderly.
