My nest is deconfigured every other day, when that happens I have to go back from the Google Home app to set it up, and sometimes I have to even restart it from the factory because the app cannot find it. Do I need any updates or what could be due to?

I have been experiencing the exact same problem! It’s been over a month. I tried relocating my Nest Mini to see if it could be related to the distance to the router, but it’s not even that it disconnects from Wi-fi - I just have to login to the Google Home app every day to reconfigure it. I already did a factory reset and it did not help. I have a Google Nest Mini (I think it’s Gen2? SO weird this info isn’t available under “device information “ in the Google Home App). I got it 6 years ago.

Hi @AlejandrAcero,
Thank you for reaching out to the community. I understand you're having some inconveniences with your Nest device frequently disconnecting, which requires you to set it up again or perform a factory reset to get it recognized by the Google Home app. I'm happy to assist you.
Could you tell me what kind of Nest device you have? (e.g., Nest Thermostat, Google Nest speaker or display, Nest camera or doorbell, etc.)
Additionally, please let me know how long you have had your Nest device set up in the Google Home app and if you have made any changes to the network where it's connected.
The setup process after a factory reset varies by device. Depending on the model, the device may remove itself from the Google Home app automatically, or you might need to manually delete it before adding it again.
While you mentioned an update, I recommend checking that you have installed the latest version of the Google Home app and the latest software for your phone. Any updates for your Nest device will be installed automatically during the setup process after you remove the device from the app and reset it.
Keep me posted. I'll be waiting for your response.
Regards,
Anders

Hi Anders, I have the Nest Mini speaker, 2nd gen, I have my device connected to network 2.4 on my Internet. When I make the configuration, it is perfect, but for a couple of days I already enter the command and it says "Enter the year of Google Home and set up your device," sometimes it appears in the app at once, but others do not and I must restart it from the factory and configure everything again, this problem I have been presenting for about 5 or 6 months now.

Si, tengo el mismo Nest, más o menos el mismo tiempo 6 años, por eso mencionaba si es algún error de software o actualización, pues ahora que tu comentas que tienes el mismo error puede ser algo general de esos dispositivos Yes, I have the same Nest, about the same time 6 years, so I mentioned if it is any software bug or update, because now that you comment that you have the same bug, it can be something general about those devices.
