I keep going through the Google home app and the device utility app and still can not connect. The apps see the mini but can never connect. I have connected to what should be th device in my phone's WiFi, and I still get nowhere.
Kindly try the workaround suggested here—once the Device utility app finds your Google Home Mini device, turn the Wi-Fi back on before you press the start button. Let me know if it works.
