Your Nest Hub might be going through its nightly automatic reboot checking for firmware updates. It happens to ours as well; sometimes it takes awhile. Ours seems to happen anytime between about 2 am and 4 am.

A few questions: when did the issue start? Which specific Nest Hub do you have (1st, 2nd, Nest Hub Max)? Does your Nest Hub screen return to normal when you turn on the lights?
