Spatial audio would make it an astounding machine, at this point it is only capable to achieve stereo sound by pairing two.
Because the Nest Audio lacks any wired input, it can't be connected to an audio interface. You'll need different speakers for spatial audio.
It would be awesome to know if any hacks come up for spatial nest audio, none exist as of now and I suspect it's not easy to do without support from the manufacturer (such as open sourcing a virtual audio interface, idk). You could technically feed spatial audio channels into multiple devices (phones) and cast to Nest 1:1.
