I am unable to connect to my google nest. I reset the device and after going through set up and successfully connecting to wifi, I got this error message ‘Operation couldn’t be completed (kGSKErrorDomain error -82905.) What do I do??

Hi folks,

@leahstjean, @Deejake, this is not the experience we want you to have; let me help you. A few questions: which Nest speakers are we working with? When did your issue begin? Were there any recent changes made? When you did the reset, were they the same steps as what you see in this link?

If the factory reset was done and you still have the same error message, kindly check the language of your phone and make sure to set it to US-English and redo the setup.

Also, check if you’re using a Google account, preferably with a Gmail domain, to maximize the features you can use with your Nest devices. It would also be a big help if your account wasn’t personalized to avoid security concerns during setup.

Keep us posted.

Best,

Dan

Hello again,

I wanted to follow up and see if you are still in need of any help. Have you had the chance to try the suggestion above? If yes, how is it?

Kind regards,

Dan
