I can see and hear my speaker during setup but it will not connect to the WiFi.

I have done all the options. Reboot router, reboot speaker. WiFi password is correct. Latest version of Android, latest version of Google Home.

I do get the warning that the device is not supported in my country (South Africa) but I should still be able to use it as a speaker.

It worked before. Since getting a new ISP/Fiber, it hasn't worked. I've checked with the ISP and there's nothing wrong on their side

I've got one Google Home speaker working, but cannot add the second.

Hi Guy Pringle,

As I'm sure you're aware, Google Home and Google Nest devices are optimized to work best with specific WiFi standards, depending on where they are sold and designed for. If you choose to export a device from a supported country to another country, you will receive no Google support, it may experience decreased performance, may not work as expected, and it may not comply with regulations in the country you've exported it to.

First make sure both WiFi and Bluetooth are turned ON on your phone or tablet. Let's try these steps:
  1. Go to the WiFi settings on your mobile device.

  2. Open the list of available WiFi networks and look for an available network with the name “GoogleHomeXXXX" (where XXXX is a random number).

Note: If you previously set up your device and haven't factory reset it since it lost connection to your WiFi network, look for the name of the device that you assigned to it in the list of available networks on your mobile device.

  3. If you can successfully connect to your speaker or display's WiFi network in your WiFi settings, open the Google Home app and try to set up the device.
