Error message when setting up Google assistant

I get error message when I try to set up Google assistant. I can’t set up my nest mini because of this. What do I do?

Thanks for reaching out. 

Have you already installed the Google Assistant app on your set up device? If yes, let's try to update it to its latest version and attempt to set up again.
