Factory Reset

Hi

My 2nd gen nest mini stopped responding to anything. Periodically the 4 lights flash faintly.

To fix I've tried:

Soft reboot - holding centre, mic off

Hard reboot- pulling out cable

Factory reset. Pull out power cable 10 seconds the plug back in until 4 lights show repeating another 10 times

Factory reset pulling power the pluging in and leaving for 1 min and repeating for another 8 times.

Nothing is reseting. The nest is not responsive to voice commands and no longer appears in my home app. I've also cleared the app cache. The app can't find it. It shows as on my Internet though.

I have 2 other nest minis and a hub max and they are all connected and working fine.

This one is the oldest one I've had and have had constant other bugs with it since the day it came. Bugs such as loosing connectivity or loosing connection with the home app. It kept changing its name with each reboot.

What's my next course of action to take?

After almost a full day of showing the 3 min pulsing lights (which, according to the flashing lights guide [which I found very uselful] showed it was struggling to connect to the Internet. ) However there was nothing in the home app to help me help it connect.

Anyway by the late evening I gave it one more shot. I unplugged and plugged back in. Then gently pressed the top for over a minute and then after removing my hand a second or to later it rebooted.  It still took some resetting of the app for it to find it using add device sequence.

I've timed the interval between the lights flashing. It's 3 mins 12 seconds.
