A device with alarm clock functionality should always be able to show a clock, even without network connectivity. This is not the case, even though the hardware definitely is capable of this since alarms do fire without network connection.
It is important that users are informed that network is unavailable, but this does not require the entire screen, and when in "night mode" displaying that information should not change the brightness of the screen at the risk of disturbing the owner's sleep.
Can you please fix that?

absolutely no reason why this shouldnt be available. Just a small notification to say the network connection is broken and may result in limited functionality is enough, why does the entire device have to be essentially stopped? Full screen "NO INTERNET!!!!" is just stupid.

It is incredible that practically no new functions has been added in the last 4 years to Nest Hub.
