I'm looking for a setting to allow my partner to ask google where my phone is and make it ring. We both can ask it to help locate our own devices, It will ring my Galaxy A53 if I ask that and he can get it to do the same for his iPhone.but yesterday I was looking for where I absentmindedly laid my phone down (getting old) he decided to ask "hey Google Where is Mike's Phone?" The response from the Google speaker was something about setting Parental permissions.
We are both set up as Managers in the Home Family settings. I can't seem to locate the settings its talking about. funny neither of us are children... thanks

Hi mikey1273,
Thanks for reaching out — let’s see what’s going on. A few questions: what Nest speaker do you own? Were there any recent changes or updates to your setup? Also, what steps have you taken so far?
You can reboot your Nest speaker and observe if it will make a difference.
Regards,
Juni

We have nest mini purchased in late 2019 and a Lenovo smart clock.
The nest mini is the one we asked.
It seems to work if we ask our self but not for looking for the others device.
I did reboot the mini Sunday so far no change

Hey mikey1273,
Chiming in, being able to find someones device is an excellent feature but not supported on the Nest Mini. Finding a device is part of the security feature that only the account owner can get an accurate answer from the speaker.
We're always looking for ways to improve, and we'll take this as feedback. You can also send feedback using your device by saying, "Hey Google, send feedback." Visit this link for more steps.
Let us know if you have additional questions or concerns about your device, otherwise, I'll lock the thread after 24 hours.
Cheers,
Muddi
