Hi!
I bought my Google Nest Hub (2nd Gen) and it doesn't update its firmware. Its current version is
System Firmware Version: 290464
Cast Firmware: 1.56.290464
But Google shows the latest version is 1.56.309385
This makes my Device doesn't show, e.g., the app launcher. I'm in Argentina.
Can you help me?

It might be because you are using your device from an unsupported country. The Google Nest hub 2nd gen is officially sold in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy Japan, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, United Kingdom, United States (except for Puerto Rico).
Maybe you could try using it through a VPN connection with a supported county and see if the firmware version updates.

this nest hub v2, is a garbage. since i got it, [usa] it reboots 3-5x a day. it crashes often. the firmware in this device is the problem. all i get is robo form emails that you cant reply to. i will never buy another google device...

Sorry to hear about this. Could you please tell us what country are you located at? Also, kindly provide the cast firmware version of your Google Nest speaker so we can check further.

Tengo el mismo problema, soy de Uruguay.
Adicional a que no se actualiza, también faltan opciones en el menú, no puedo entrar a la parte de gestos por ejemplo (algo que nunca logre hacer funcionar)

In addition to not updating, there are also missing options in the menu, I can't access the gestures part for example (something that I never managed to make work)
The screen was purchased from the official google store that you have on ebay.

Chiming in - thanks for the information. Sorry to know that your device is not getting a firmware update. I agree with @Cathal_S that the reason for not getting an update is because of your location. Please note that we can only guarantee the full functionalities for the Google Home/Nest devices in those countries where it was officially supported and released. You might want to try resetting your device then check if it will push the update. If not, send feedback via voice command by following the steps on this link.

Ayer logré actualizarlo. Lo raro sigue siendo los "ajustes" incompletos. Solo muestra esto.

Thanks for sharing the photo. It's nice to know that you were able to update your device now. For missing settings, possible that those are not available in your device because you are located in a country where the device is not fully supported.
