I have some Nest speaker devices and they all got updated to the latest firmware. I presume this since it was saying it through the speakers during the initial installation.
Now when I compare the firmware version I see in the Google Home app/Device information page I see the Nest Mini is on version 1.54.277099
However if I check online (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/7365257?hl=en) I see the latest production firmware is 1.54.250118. This seems to be an older firmware version listed then what I have on my device. It is the exact same for my 3(2x Nest Audio and Nest Hub2nd) devices.
Any idea what's going on here?
Cheers,
Alucard

I am having the same issue and am also wondering if it’s the reason why my speaker groups aren’t working today, having been stable and functional for months.

Hello, I too have the same issue but it is already one month since the query started, now on the website, the latest firmware for nest mini is 1.54.277099 but in the Home app, it says my Nest Mini is on firmware version: 1.54.279716. (My nest mini is legit. then Why it is showing a different firmware version on the website?

I have two Nest Mini Gen2's, one with the firmware preview program option set to "on" and the other "off". Today the one set to "on" was upgraded to 1.54.279716. The other is still running 1.54.277099. Of course, Google is absolutely no help. Their firmware page makes no mention of 1.54.279716 and gives no information of any kind on what uodates are included in any of the releases. Pitiful. Just pitiful...
