First gen Nest doorbell.

Hi folks.

Just a quick question.  I am short term renting a property whilst I look to buy. The owner has a first gen Nest wired doorbell already installed. She has given me the pass key to set up and use. Is there anyway that I can see if the owner is still able, or is still using it as well?

Many thanks

@Rayday44

What do you mean by "given me the pass key"? I'm not aware of any "pass key" for Google Nest doorbells.

If you mean the owner provided you with the 6-character alphanumeric Setup Code that can be used instead of the QR code when installing the Google Nest Hello Doorbell in the Google Nest app, and if you installed the doorbell in the Google Nest app using your account, in a Google Nest "home/structure" you specified, then you have control of who has access to the doorbell.

If, on the other hand, the owner sent an invitation to your gmail account to join her Google Nest "household", and you accepted the invitation, then both of you have full access to the doorbell, as well as any other Google Nest device in that Google Nest "home/structure".

Yes, that makes sense. Thank you very much for the reply
