Gemini Update Sucks

I refuse to believe I'm the only one to notice Google home assistant is significantly worse following the Gemini update a couple months ago. I've been a Google home user for 5+ years over around 4/5 devices and have loved it so far, but have found myself refraining from using the assistant becuase of the Gemini update. 

Normal average queries that used to take maybe 5 seconds to answer now take 30+ seconds and are filled with unnecessary and bloated responses. 

I ask the temperature and where I would have just been told the temperature before, I now get told how the temperature is determined and when that temperature will be at what certain time. I ask for simple measuring conversions a lot in the kitchen, and what used to take a couple seconds to get a response now comes with a long-winded explanation before finally at the end of the 30 second rant get told the conversion. This is, again, after a maybe 30 second wait for a response. 

Also, all of my custom sequenced word triggered smart home events have broken...

I had to make an account to request this: please make Gemini better, or let users switch back to the old Google assistant.

I get what you're going thru. EVERY morning Gemini ruins the whole day with this long winded,ridiculous, excessive wording for questions to be answered. I have found ways to ask for medical questions to avoid the "I'm  not a medical professional,blah,blah,blah"; by telling Ge that I'm asking a General medical question and get quicker answer.

   As for weather, I ask it " what is the temperature now".  Slowly it is learning, but 24 hrs later, it back to square one in the morning, fueling more anger.

After a small stroke, my voice changed,YOU can Guess the rest. I had to retrain my vocal cords, but Google is stuck in the mud.
