Gestures in hub max

Am in New Zealand, does this restrict functionality of my Device? I can’t get gestures working.

From my understanding, certain features are only available in supported regions.

If I look at THIS support page, I am afraid New Zealand is not a supported region for the Nest Hub Max. 🙄
