Goggle Mini will not connect after working fine for months.

I have now had 4 Google devices loose connection after working fine for a long time.

I never have any problems with any other device.

I have attempted the following:

-Speaker is powerred on

-I am sure I am using the same password, its not difficult

-My mobile devide has android 8 or later

-I have the latest version of the App.

-There has been no changes to the router for months.

-The speaker is close to the Router and has been using this router for months.

- verified both network and passwords

- Factory reset of the speaker (Multiple times with multiple speakers)

- reset modem

- turned wifi on phone off and on

- tried two different WIFI routers plus mobile hotspot on a different android device

- I have tried connecting the device to phone with Mobile Hotspot enabled and I see that it connects but still will not proceed.

Every time it gets as far as the "Connecting to Wifi screen then it just says Connection problem, please check your wifi etc

Same here... I've sent a feedback to Google via email. I haven't checked my inbox yet. I've browsed on the internet to find the similar problem as mine. I haven't got my answer yet.

Do a factory reset on the device and run through the setup process again.

Yes, this one done. Many times for all my speakers. "- reset speaker (Multiple times with multiple speakers)"

Hey folks,

Thanks for reaching out. I know how challenging it can be when you're having issues connecting your Google Home Mini to your network. I'd like to dig deeper into this. How far is your Google Home Mini from the router? What is the make and model of your router? Have you tried using a different phone/tablet for setup? Have you change any settings on your router lately? Are there other Google Home/Nest devices connected on the same network? When and where did you purchase your Home Mini?

@David_H : I appreciate your help here.

Looking forward to your response.

Cheers,

Muddi

Hi Muddi, Thanks for taking an interest in my case.

  • How far is your Google Home Mini from the router?

It is about 3 m/10feet from the router.  I also tried another router 20m away.

  • What is the make and model of your router?

TP-Link  Archer AX10, I have also tried router from my internet provider and hotspot on two android phones. The Mini looks like it connects to the Wifi and I see some data being set but does not look like anything is recieved.

  • Have you tried using a different phone/tablet for setup?

Yes, I have tried two different phones and tablets for set up.

Have you change any settings on your router lately?

I have not changed any settings of my router lately.

  • Are there other Google Home/Nest devices connected on the same network?

No

  • When and where did you purchase your Home Mini?

I bought the mini from a electronics shop in Switzerland about 6 months ago
