Google Home Mini not working with Spotify

Hello

I've linked my premium Spotify account but every time I want to play something, Spotify skips a lot of songs for no particular reason and the once it's playing a song, it only reproduce it for 10 seconds and the home mini goes mute. According to the Spotify, the songs still playing but there is no sound coming from the home mini. This also happens when trying to play from my Mac on casting.

And yes, I've reset all and re install all apps. I'm on the latest firmware.  All 3 devices are on the same network.

Hey Pedrorc94,

Thanks for reaching out, let's see what's going on.

A few questions: was it working before? If so, were there any recent changes or updates on your network or devices? Also, what's the exact command you used?

Try relinking your Spotify account from your Google Home app. Also, check if it is also happening when you command the Google Assistant on your phone.

Best,

Alex

Hi Pedrorc94,

Thanks for responding.

Let's go ahead and perform a complete reset to your Google Home Mini and set it up again. As soon as you set that up, make sure to login your Spotify credentials and see if it's fixed.

Keep me posted.

Best,

Princess
