Last year, my camera stopped working on my Nest Home Max. I unplugged it, rebooted it, etc to no avail. I see that others have posted similar complaints but I don't see any resolution.

Hi Timchurchwell,
Thanks for reaching out. I know how it feels when something isn’t working as it should. A few questions: what LED lights appear on the Nest Hub Max? Did you attempt to Factory Reset your Nest Hub Max after discovering the camera offline issue? If yes, were you able to successfully set up the built-in camera again? Does the built-in Nest Cam work with the following apps:
I look forward to your response.

Juni

I also have been having trouble with the camera of my nest home max. I installed one at my mother for me to be able to call with google meet. It used to work for a while, but suddenly the camera is not working anymore during the calls. Sometime unplugging it was making the trick and camera was working again for a while, but for example write now, my mother rebooted, I saw the video for a moment in the cameras with my google home app and a few minutes after the camera is not working again. As this user, I have seen more post related but closed without a solution. So to the support question, in my case the camera stops working from any app. The display works fine for her, showing fotos and or the callers video.

Hi Moniberi
Thanks for posting. Try the factory reset; this erases all your personalized settings and restores the factory default settings. It won’t automatically reconnect to WI-Fi, and you’ll need to set it up again. Check out the article below to know more about it.
Factory reset Google Nest or Home speakers or displays

Hi Juni,
Thanks for the suggestion. I tried that already and unfortunately didn't work. The only thing that makes it work for a short period of time (maybe 1-2-3 days) is unplugging/plugging the Hub Max and video-calling with Meet as soon as I see the image in Google Home. If I don't make a video-call to the Hub Max within a few minutes, most of the times the camera stops working and it does not work remotely again. Any ideas?

Mónica
