My Google Home devices perform completely wrong actions almost half of the time.
As an example - if I say "set light to 20%" I most frequently get response like "done, your alarm is set to 5pm" (time seems to be completely random). After I ask it same thing again, I get another, non related answer - like annotation to movie, advice on cooking cabbage etc. Lights get adjusted only on 3rd-5th attempt.
In Assistant history, all recordings sound reasonably clear and pretty much the same, but the text Google has "herd" half of the time is completely random BS. How can "turn off tv" be heard as "snooker on action 2"?!
Has anyone experienced something similar? Any ideas?
To the Princesss (Community Specialist): Due to my disability, I can't to check your answers and post here every day. It should not be a reason to lock my topics. By the way, resetting speakers did not change a thing. And yes, I know how to check recordings. That's how I know that text version it often gets is not related to the spoken command.

Hey KamsK,
Sorry to hear about your experience with your Google Home/Nest devices. I'd love to help. A few questions: how many Google Home/Nest devices do you have? How far are they from your router? What Google Home/Nest devices do you have?
To eliminate network issues, try setting up one of your devices using a mobile hotspot. Please note that you will need two mobile devices for this setup (one will serve as a router and the other to be used to set up your Google Home/Nest device).
Also, we apologize if the thread was closed sooner than you would have liked. As Community Specialists, we occasionally do a bit of housekeeping to keep the conversations in our community fresh and relevant. This includes locking threads after a period of inactivity.
Let me know how it goes.

I have 4 devices (mini, mini 2, home and home max), the problem is same on all. It should not be a network issue, if the recordings are fine in my Google account, isn't it? In recording you can clearly hear command, but the transcript shows completely different text.

Could you, respectfully, please f off my topics? Or try answering these threads while you are half blind and typing causes so much pain you cry. And then let me lock these up because you are answering to slowly, waiting for the day when your simptoms are less severe.
I usually don't wish upon some to have to live with the same condition as I do, but you really ask for being exception.

Hi KamsK,
Sorry for the late response. Could you tell us if you have tried connecting one of your device using mobile hotspot as suggested above? Also, let's perform a complete reset to one of your Google Nest speakers so we can compare its behavior to the other speakers.
Let us know how it goes.
Best,
Princess

I tried resetting and hotspot. The main difference I have noticed so far was connection related issues, as I have 0-1 bars of mobile coverage at home (WiFi calling feature is one of the best inventions!). It's hard to tell about understanding/misunderstanding me - I will try to connect it back to my WiFi

Hi KamsK,
Thanks for trying. Can you try to check your recordings on the commands you give on this link?

Princess

Hey KamsK,
Just checking in if you are able to check the recordings of your commands on the Google Home app?
Cheers,
Muddi

Yes, that's how I noticed the fact that Assistant is "hearing "(understanding) something way different to the thing that was said (and can be heard on recording). I mentioned it in my initial post ("turn off tv" was interpreted as "snooker on action 2")
I must say though, that ratio of misunderstanding me has gone down noticeably since i have performed reset on speakers. It might have something to do with the fact that I have moved those to slightly different locations as well.

Hey KamsK,
Thanks for coming back to us. How far is your device from the router? Also, could you send us a video showing the issue so we can further check what's going on with your device.
Cheers,
Muddi
