Could you tell what phone are you using? Is it an Android or iOS phone? Make sure that voice match is completely setup and is using the same account linked both on your phone and Google Home/Nest speakers. 

Lastly, what are the commands that you have tried? Are they working before? Let us know more details so we can start some steps.
