So for the last 18 months or so Google Assistant has been playing the wrong song version when I ask it to play a song. It is usually a remix or live version, sometimes it's a cover, sometimes it's the wrong song altogether. Very rarely it will play the version I want - ie the album version. It does it on Nest Audi, Minis, Hub Gen 2, Hub Max, Android phones and tablets. I use Deezer with a premium subscription but I know people have the same problem with Spotify, Apple Music YouTube Music etc.
Google has been made aware of this issue but it remains unresolved. I need an answer.

This is why I keep asking google to add search function for spotify on the nest hub! It especially gives the wrong songs when you spwak another language then English

Hi folks.
@Rebin, thanks for the help.
@RichardA, that certainly hasn't been easy for you ― let’s check this out. What is the exact command that you’re giving? Do you have any filters set with your Deezer?
Could you unlink and relink your Deezer account from Google Home app. Open this link and tell me how it goes.
Regards,
Dan

Hi Dan, so I have done all of that many times, it used to be ok but I'd say 18 months ago it started being less and less reliable. It doesn't matter what command you use or how specific you make the selection Google gets it wrong. And if you say I don't like this song, or don't play this song again Google says ok but ask for the song you wanted and it plays the one you told it not to.
It isn't just the Nest systems, it does it 9n my phone too. And judging by the comments here it isn't limited to Deezer.
The issue is clearly with the Google algorithm and how it chooses what to play. It's incredibly frustrating.

Hi RichardA,
Thank you for the confirmation about the troubleshooting that you did. I also need to know if that includes a factory reset? If no, then I need you to reset just one of your speaker, let's say your Nest Mini, so that we can find a better solution. Click this link and follow the steps and keep me posted.
Best,
Dan

Well, I have done factory resets on our Hub Max and Nest Audio speakers. The Nest Hub 2 is new and does the same as the rest and I've had 2 phones both having this issue and my wife has too. So, we've got 4 Android phones, a Hub Max, Hub gen2, 3 Nest Audio speakers and 4 minis all with the same issue. It isn't hardware, it isn't the set up, it isn't Deezer.

Hello again,
I hear you! To narrow things down, I need you to have your speakers play from a different platform whether it's random or specified. Let's see if it plays the music that we want and tell me how it goes.
Best,
Dan

When you say different platform what do you mean? I only use Deezer. I started another thread on this months ago which got nowhere and has 60+ replies, the platform playing the music doesn't matter, it doesn't work on Deezer, Spotify, YouTube Music, Apple iTunes, and tohers that I can't remember. This is an AI issue, 100%.
