Google Commercials Playing in the middle of my Listening to a radio station

Google home keeps interrupting with commercials when listening to radio station. I've reset it by unplugging it for 30 seconds. Rebooted. It stopped for a bit but started again it stops in the middle of broadcasting at important times (contest information - required to listen at a certain time for a key name to call in). I know it is google home because we also have Alexia and that does not happen on that speaker. My b/f is ready to throw it over the balcony. Please let me know what else I can do before it ends up in the landfill. lol
