Google Display won't play audio when casting

When I cast from any app (YouTube, Hulu, Spotify) Google Display will not play audio while streaming. It's not actively connected to bluetooth, volume isn't muted, but it will never play audio, even after rebooting. What's up?

Thanks for reaching out — let’s see what’s going on. A few questions: what Nest display are we working with? When did it begin? Were there any recent changes or updates to your network or setup? Also, do you have audio when you use voice commands to play music?
