Hello there!

Today I have a problem with a home 1st gen purchased in the United States and it gives me the problem that it cannot connect to my network during the setup,

At this moment I living in Colombia, and also I have already tried all the suggested steps to rule out the problem but no matter how much I do the setup,

this does not work for me It allows. from rebooting the router to factory resetting the speaker, i would really like to use it on my network. is there anything i can do about it?

Actually I don't want to think that is a waste of time and money 😞

Hello Rachel I did the steps, in this case I already solve the issue by connecting directly with my laptop with the same SSID information and them disconnected, now it solves the issue but sometimes the speaker changes constantly between 2.4 and 5ghz

Hey JDgo,

Thanks for updating the Community of your resolution. If you have a dual-band router, your Google Home will automatically connect to the strongest signal if they have the same SSID and password. If it interrupts you from using your speaker, we suggest separating your band and creating a different name and password for each.
