Google Home Hub not changing display brightness

mmurphmsu

Seems like some kind of Nest Hub update was pushed out that has changed the brightness settings of my Hub. Previously if I was using it, the display would ramp up so that you could see it, then when I stopped using it, it would ramp down.

Now and unless I swipe it away, the brightness stays high all the time. I haven't changed a single setting so I know its some kind of update that was pushed out. Any ideas?

Hey mmurphmsu,

Thanks for visiting the community.

My apologies for the late response. It would help a lot if you could share a video of what's happening with your Google Nest Hub. Also, which specific Nest Hub o you have (1st or 2nd gen)?

Looking forward to your response.

Cheers,

Muddi

Hi Muddi,

It's a Gen 1 Google Hub. I don't see where I can attach a video. I can only attach a picture.
