My Google Home Max speaker is dead. There must be something wrong with the unit.
When I plug in the power cable, nothing happens. No lights, no sound, I can't see it online. I've tried:
Nothing unusual happened to other devices. I woke up today and it was completely dead.
What am I missing? What other steps can I take to make it work again?
Thanks for any help

That certainly hasn't been easy for you — let me help you out.

Hi Alex,
Yes, I've filled in the form just now. I'm in the Czech Republic, which is also where I purchased the Home Max. I'm not sure when exactly I purchased it; I'm still trying to find the invoice. I'll let you know when I do.
Have a wonderful day,
Dominik

Hey noogler,
Thanks for the additional information. This may not be the answer you're looking for, our Limited Warranty is only eligible for replacement in countries where Google Home was manufactured. Also, based on the date of your purchase, it's already out of warranty as well. We appreciate your patience, we're here if you have other questions.
Best,
Alex

Hello again Alex,
You're right, that answer isn't useful. Where can I get this unit repaired?
07-20-2022 10:19 AM
Hey noogler,
We don't have any official repair centers for Nest speakers or displays. You may consider bringing your device to any local electronic shops on your end, though there's also no guarantee that they'll be able to repair it.
Kind regards,
Alex

Hi Alex,
Are there any other options available? This is completely unacceptable for a device that cost $300 and barely lasted 3 years. If I knew this was how Google treats its device's lifecycle, I would've gone for an established brand like Bose instead. Is there at least any repair shop you can recommend? If not in the Czech Republic, then how about Germany?
Sincerely,
Dominik

Hey Dominik,
We sincerely apologize, however, we don't have any repair or service centers available in in US and other countries. Here's a complete documentation of Google Nest Device's warranty.
Best,
Princess

Thanks Princess,
I'll remember not to purchase any other expensive devices from Google. Not having any repair or service centers is a major shortcoming.
