Agreed. Just moved into a new office. Can't setup my old home mini, "can't be activated".
Use a non Pixel device? I only own Pixel phones. No windows client, no utility available in US...
We understand how frustrating this is for you, have you tried setting up your device using other devices? Do you have an option to install the Device Utility app? If not, can you provide us with your Google Home app version.

I replied to the email and it didn't go through. My bad for expecting a function to the forums that doesn't work.
I was able to get it to reset, but have to be honest and say that it's not a good resolution. I only own Pixel phones so having to borrow someone else's phone or tablet to do this was, well, frankly irritating as hell.
