Google Home Mini not streaming ABC Radio National

I am having trouble getting my Googloe Home Mini to consistently stream ABC Radio National. When I ask it to stream Radio National through Tune In, the Home App on my iPhones indicates that the service IS streaming but there is no sound. I tried asking it to Stream ABC Radio National Victoria through Radio App and that seemed to work for a few days. After which the Home Mini seemed to have lost contact with my WiFi network and then I needed to delete, reset and reinstall the device to reconnect it. It also seemed to do a firmware update at that time. As far As I can tell, all firmware and software is the latest version.

Now it will not recognise ABC Radio National on Radio App (although other ABC radio Stations will work) and I still have the same issue if I ask to stream using Tune In. It says it is working but is not.

This is very frustrating as the service sometimes works, but mostly doesn't. It is very inconsistent and is providing no real help in expalining what is wrong.

• Have you set your time zone and location correctly?
• Have you linked your radio services?

Based on the information provided, I recommend the following troubleshooting steps:

• Ask for the station in a different way. For example, if the name didn't work, try the call sign or frequency. 
• Add more specific information, such as "on [radio service]," to your request.
• When you use the frequency, add the name of a nearby city. For example: "Hey Google Play 101.9 FM LA."

Virna, thank you for your answer however this has not helped.

1. The Option of "Radio" as a service is not available on my Google Home App.

2. The Radio Streaming is working, I can get other Stations.

3. I have tried asking for the ABC Radio National (RN) in different ways before and sometimes it has worked and sometimes (mostly) it doesn't.

4. I have been previously been able to get ABC RN by asking for "Stream Radio National, Victoria, through Radio App" Now this does not work and I get told is "that RN is unavailable or not at this time".
5. If I ask for ABC RN through Tune In Radio, it tells me "it is Streaming" and the App shows that it is working, but it isn't. There is no sound.

This is really frustrating as the reliability of getting a service is hit and miss, mostly miss. I do not understand what "Radio App" is and what services/statiions it does or does not support. I cannot find anywhere to look that gives me more information. It does not appear as an App on my Iphone.

The Tune In App does appear on my Iphone and when I just use thhe Tune In app on my Phone, I can stream ABC RN every time without any problem.

I am beginning to think these Google Home devices are rubbish and not very useful and seemingly lacking Google Support.

As a follow up, I finally got ABC Radio National to play, using the Radio App.

I had to request "Stream ABC RN on Radio App", not use the words "Radio National" This strange because using "Radio National" with Tune In is acknowledged, although it still does not play even though my Home app on the phomne tells me it is playing as well as the Home speaker say "playing ABC Radio National.

The people at Radio App need to be a little better at identifying stations. e.g It can only be identified as ABC RN and not by its proper name ABC Radio National.
