Google Home Nest 1st Gen Unable to complete its Goodnight Routines

I'm not sure what happened but these routines used to be working perfectly until just recently. When the routines are triggered it will do its first routine which is "Asking what time I need to set up the alarm" and then it just hangs. In some cases when I try to set it up again it will work, however just for 1 time only.

I'm running the latest firmware and unsure how to fix this problem.

Hi ranrinc,

Thanks for reaching out to the Speakers and Displays Community forum. I'd like to dig deeper into this.

Answer the following: is the issue happening on ready-made or custom routines? Did you attempt to reword the command? What other steps have you tried?

Try using the custom action "set an alarm" on your routine and check if your Google Nest Hub will ask you what time to set the alarm to. Check out this support website for more information.

Let me know if this works.

Cheers,
Lovely

Hi LovelyM,

This is happening to the ready-made routine "Bedtime" which then I add 2 more routines that allow to turn off the room lights and say "Goodnight my name"

Previously these routines work without any problem until a month ago. Yes, it did ask for "set an alarm" and upon setup, it just stop to continue to the next step. Did setup multiple times on Android to maybe fixed it.

However yesterday night and last night these routines seem to be working properly. Will let you know if it makes any changes.
