No matter how I word it, when I tell my Google Nest to play my discover weekly playlist on Spotify it plays an album named discover weekly instead. The same goes for my daily mix playlists as well. It seems like someone has capitalized on the API to divert these requests to their albums instead of playing the Spotify curated playlists.

When my friend who is also voice matched to the speakers requests the same, the speaker starts the correct playlist.

I have attached an example of the album that gets played instead of the playlist.

Man this has been annoying me a lot, I'm literally looking at the nest screen which lists my "Discover Weekly" playlist and it still can never find it.

Did you get anywhere with this?

Thanks Jake, I can report that I've not experienced this issue again since. As a developer, very curious to know the root-cause of this error though haha

Hey goodtimeclub,

I personally don't have any details on what the root cause of the error was. I am glad to hear the issue has been resolved, though. With that being the case, I am going to lock the thread at this time. If you run into any questions from here, please feel free to create a new post.

Best regards,

Jake
