Google Home Speaker not providing responses

Hello,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to seek assistance regarding an issue I am facing with my Google Home Speaker. For the past 2-3 weeks, the speaker has not been functioning properly, despite multiple attempts to reset it and reassociate it with my account.

Although I can activate the speaker by addressing it, I do not receive any responses regardless of what I say or ask. Strangely enough, when I use the speaker as an output device for Spotify, it plays music without any problems. This indicates that the speaker is correctly connected to the Wi-Fi network.

I am curious to know if anyone else has experienced a similar symptom or if there are any known solutions to this issue. Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi jabbo,
 

I know how it feels when something isn’t working the way it should. Let’s further look into it. A few questions: how did you do the reset? Does the same issue occur when you’re near your Google Home device or others speak to it? Do you have other Google Home devices? Are they working fine?
