Google Home Speakers Groups

I created a speaker group for my upstairs speakers and a separate group for my downstairs group. Downstairs works fine, but upstairs only plays on a single speaker. How to correct this?

Hi Doc2,

That certainly hasn't been easy for you ― let's check it out. A few questions: what Nest speakers do you have? How many devices are in each speaker group?  May I know the exact commands you're giving? Are all devices on the same Wi-Fi network? It would help a lot if you could do a sequential reboot first:

  1. Unplug the power cord of your router followed by your Nest speakers.
  2. Plug them back in after 3 minutes tops.
  3. Restarting your phone might also help.

Check out this guide for additional information about speaker groups.

Best,

Dan

Hey there,

I wanted to follow up and see if you are still in need of any help. Have you had the chance to try the suggestion above? If yes, how is it?

Dan
