Google Home Speakers and Google Wifi point on New Internet provider

Bullcrappy

I have a new internet provider.
I have connected my Google Wifi Router and 4 Google Wifi mesh points
I am not trying to reconnect my Home Speakers (mini' s and regular)

I factory reset the Home speakers by holding button in and it resets
I then go into my Home app on phone

Go to devices

Add device - it sees the speaker

Home apps connects to speaker
I hear the chime and acknowledge the chime on the app

I agree to legal terms

I select room to add speaker to

I select the new Wifi - enter password

Select connect

Then I get "Connection problem during setup

I select Try again

Then i get Could not connect to your Google Home Mini. Make sure it is nearby (it is)...
What could issue be?

Try these steps:

  1. Make sure that mobile data is off.
  2. Move your Home Mini within 15-20 ft. away from the router to get enough signal from your network.
  3. Reboot your Home Mini and router by disconnecting them from the power source and leave them unplugged for 1 minute. Once done, plug them back one at a time with intervals.
  4. Turn WiFi on and off on the mobile setup device.
  5. Try to use a different phone and see if you will have the same issue.
  6. If it is still the same, factory reset your device.
