Our Google Home has been working fine for a few years now. In the last week, it has been saying that I must connect to wifi first. It has never done that before.
I unplug it and plug it back in and it connects to wifi and everything is fine for a day, but then it loses the connection again.
I know that it gets a signal, because it does connect, plus the TV has wifi (just beside each other), but to verify, I moved it to my office which is less than 2 meters from the Wi-Fi modem. The problem still occurs.

Hi Jenny.
I have a Google Nest Speaker.
The device does appear on the mobile app after I perform a factory reset, but when it tells me that i must connect to WiFi first, it is no longer available (Offline).
The other steps have been factory reset, with the same result.
Cheers,
Mark
