Hey Sdestem,
Thanks for posting, and apologies for the delayed response. I know how it feels when you can't connect your Google Home to your network. A few questions - how far is your device from the router during setup? Have you changed any settings on your router lately? What type of network connection do you have (Public or Private network)?
Below are additional steps that you can try:
Please note that your speaker is not compatible with public WiFi networks such as business networks, shared apartment networks, school dorm networks, school networks, and mobile hotspots or pocket WiFi devices.
Let me know how it goes.
Cheers,
Muddi

Bonjour Muddi!

Hi Sdestem,
That's okay! I'm glad to know that your issue is now fixed, and we appreciate you for updating us about your resolution. We don't really recommend using a VPN for Google Home/Nest devices as it creates restrictions or affects some of the features of the device. Moving forward, if you have any updates or just a discussion topic, feel free to start a new thread in the community.
Cheers,
Muddi
