A molte domande, da alcuni giorni, Google home mi risponde "mi dispiace non posso più farlo" perché?

To many questions, for a few days now, Google Home has been replying "I'm sorry I can't do it anymore" why?

Sorry to hear about the troubles you're having with the Google Home app, but I'm happy to look into this for you. 

 

Have you tried these steps? 

  1. Check if there is an app update available.
  2. Uninstall and reinstall the app.
  3. Check if there is a software update available.
  4. Clear cache of the app.

ciao, ovviamente sono un utente esperto, ho già fatto tutte queste prove. Inoltre il problema NON è sul telefono Android ma sui device NEST

Stessa cosa anche a me, da alcuni giorni se chiedo cose che riguardano cibo mi risponde "mi dispiace non posso piu farlo" anche se chiedo solo "basilico" o "prezzemolo". Con rosmarino invece stranamente funziona e mi parla della pianta.

Same thing here, if i ask anything about food the answer is "sorry can't do it anymore". Even if i just say "basil" or "persil". Oddly it works if i say "rosemary" it tells me about the plant.

Anche a me da qualche settimana Home Mini per molte cose mi dice "mi dispiace non posso più farlo". Come posso risolvere?

 

Also to me since few weeks my Home Mini for a lot of things answer "sorry I can't do this anymore". How can I solve this?

Stesso problema con il pepe. Ha risposto alle prima due domande (cos'è il pepe, quali sono i principali produttori di pepe) poi stop.

This is sick! Google Home became pratically useless. Anything that is related with food no longer gets an asnwer...

Stesso problema. "Mi dispiace, non posso più farlo" è la risposta per quasi tutto. Così è praticamente inutile. Serve un fix.

Fatto (fine) ma lo avevo già fatto senza risultato già altre volte .

Ad esempio non funzionano più i task .... 

Ma non ho mai ricevuto risposte.

Se continua così tolgo tutto e passo ad Alexa 😅😊

i think you can find the experience we had directly in the messages of this thread.

 

by the way I managed to contact a google customer care person who told me that the service of assisting on any food related query (recipes etc) has been discontinued. 
she suggested that the feedback is sent from the google home app itself in order for google to reconsider the service.

I just asked one of our Nest Hubs, "Hey Google, how do you make chocolate chip cookies" and it returned a recipe from AllRecipies.com.

@danifeb, one of the most "intelligent" consideration to a "no-intelligent" answer. Kudos!

I don't understand the reason behind this phaseout, a lot of Nest/GHome it's located into a kitchen....and there are two killer-topics, set a timer and some information about food.

Stesso identico problema con il mio nest, stranamente non avevo fatto caso a domande riguardanti esclusivamente il cibo; sì ho avuto problemi anche con queste ma non risponde a molte altre domande, praticamente inutile…

ho cercato su questo forum  nel caso qualcuno avesse una risposta ma vedo che stiamo tutti riscontrando lo stesso problema senza soluzione

Anche il mio ha smesso di funzionare, ormai tocca passare alla concorrenza. È praticamente un mattone.

 

Same for me, time to buy an Alexa product as this device has become a Brick.

stesso problema ma qualcuno ci darà una soluzione? chi possiamo chiamare per lamentarci non potete vendere un prodotto che funziona per un paio di mesi e poi interrompere il servizio senza nemmeno una spiegazione!!! Sono nera soldi buttati al cesso!!!

penso sia un problema di nutrizione negli stati uniti per il quale il nest o il google assistant in generale non può più consigliare niente che sia legato al cibo, specialmente la preparazione di ricette (almeno per la mia esperienza). 

bisogna mandare il feedback dall'app direttamente, ma dubito faranno mai qualcosa. Nel frattempo io ho ordinato Alexa per vedere se magari sostituisco il mio google device con questa.

If I ask one of our Nest Hubs how to make chicken cacciatore, or chocolate chip cookies, or spaghetti, it says "I don't know, but I found these results on search", and then displays recipe links. We live in Minnesota, USA.

pollo alla cacciatora, buono!! did you notice any change in the last 3 months? For me there is no way is going to tell me how to do anything (just asked for Amatriciana). Maybe they don't want to tell us how to make italian food?

I just tried "how do you make Amatriciana" and got a recipe from "Gimme Some Oven", but it took several tries because it kept misunderstanding my pronunciation.

I don't know if there has been any change in the last 3 months because I don't use Google Assistant very much for recipes. I've seen posts in this forum where Google Assistant says it can no longer answer certain inquiries, but we haven't seen that here.

Se Google preferisce farci passare tutti alla concorrenza, lo faremo.
