Thank you for posting in the community. I understand you're having issues with your Google Home Mini since it won't turn on and only shows an orange light when you hold the reset button. I'm happy to assist you.
To better understand the reason why the device is not turning on, please provide the information requested below:
- When the speaker is plugged into the wall outlet, does it show any LED lights that indicate that it has power?
- Are other devices able to receive power from the same outlet?
- Is the official power adapter that came with the speaker used on the device?
- When did the issue begin?
- Was there any type of electrical outage around the time the issue began?
In the meantime, I recommend you discharge the speaker by following the steps below:

Unplug the power adapter from the outlet and the speaker.

Leave it unplugged for 20 seconds.

Plug the power adapter into the speaker.

Plug the other end of the power adapter into a wall outlet that works.

Check if any LED lights would appear on the speaker.
