Google Home is much slower at turning on Philips Hue lights than Alexa.
I'm talking a few seconds here too. Alexa turns lights on within a second, sometimes even faster. Yet Google Home seems to take up to 5 seconds. I'd rather Google was as fast as Alexa as this extra time makes it feel awkward to use, the feedback in terms of user friendliness is pretty slow.
If Amazon can make their system work instantaneously, then I'm pretty sure Google have the money/knowledge/ability to do the same.
I've tried rebooting all devices and router... it's always been the same, since I first got the system.

Hi Lardo,
I had the exact same issue, my hue lights were taking forever to respond (sometimes even 10 seconds), whereas my TPLink lights would be instant. Turns out the issue was my Hue Hub, when I reset my hub, and resetup my bulbs, the delay went away and everything is working great. I suspect is has something to do with the hubs "Labs" function, as I had it enabled before, and upon reset I didnt turn the labs on.

Great stuff, thanks for that! Will give it a go, interestingly, I think I also have Labs turned on too.
