Google Home only playing sleep rain sound for one hour

My Google home device used to play rain sounds for 12 hours when asked to"play rain sounds." We use this for sleep all night long. As of today, it turns off after 1 hr.

Why? How do I fix this? Baby relies on it white noise.

Try putting it on repeat instead of asking for a number of hours. It never worked for us either - we had to make a playlist that lasted over 8 hours.

Jben841, I know how it feels when something isn’t working the way it should. Let’s further look into it. I want to check, have you tried playing other ambient sounds to see if they exhibit the same issue? Do you have other Google Home devices aside from this one? If yes, is it doing the same behavior?

Try these troubleshooting steps:

• Unplug the power cord from your Google Home for a minute, > Plug it back in.
• Command Google Assistant to play the rain sounds for 12 hours. If the issue persists, try asking for it to play for a few hours (2–3), and then monitor.
