Unable to setup google home speaker, always says cannot connect to device with wifi settings

Thanks for posting, and apologies for the delayed response.

I know how hard it is when your Google Home device is not connecting to a network. A few questions -- is this a first-time setup or the device has been connected to the same network before? What type of network connection do you have (public or private network)? Are you using a dual-band router? What specific message are you getting when connecting your device to your network? Also, what steps have you tried so far?
