Security cam stream to Chromecast keeps timing out

I have a chromecast setup that I would like to have a livestream of my nest cameras shown on an ongoing basis. When I ask google to “show [cam name] on [chromcast TV name]” it works great for about 5 minutes then shuts off. Anyway to fix that?
