Google Home speakers do not appear as speakers while pairing

The Google Home devices appear as Bluetooth devices instead of as Bluetooth speakers / headphones is there a way that i can have them be publicly discoverable as speakers and not generic Bluetooth devices some of my transmitters refuse to pair with generic Bluetooth devices and only pair with devices that publish that they are speakers or headphones.
