Swipe up function not working Nest Hub 2ndGen

The swipe up function keeps disappearing. I've done the unplug and wait 5 mins. It returns after that but then disappears the next day. Same thing when I've done a factory reboot. How do I fix this?

This is not the experience we want you to have; let me help you. A few questions: when did your issue begin? Were there any recent changes made? How often does it happen in a day?

 

Could you check the firmware version of your Nest Hub (2nd Gen)? Follow the steps below:

 

  1. Open the Google Home app Google Home app.
  2. Touch and hold your device's tile.
  3. Tap Settings and then Device information.
  4. Under "Technical information," check for Cast firmware: "X.XXX.XXXXX." If the device is on Fuchsia, check for System firmware version: "X.XXXXXXXX.X.XXXXXXX"

Hi Dan

This has been happening since unboxing. I was unable to use the swipe up during the set up tutorial. It seems to happen nearly every day. At the moment the swipe up line is missing.

System firmware version: 10.20221207.2.100042

Cast firmware: 1.68.356352
