Google Home turns on music after I turn it off

Twice this week I told Google to turn off Apple Music and then I left the house.  Returning a couple of hours later the music is playing. I don't have unlimited data and am trying to stay within my allotted streaming time!! I have an LG Sound bar and a google nest mini and they are set up as a group. I have the app on my Apple 13 pro.
