Google Home won't turn on

Hi,

Our Google Home recently started turning off for no reason. I've just factory reset it after reading some other posts and now it's stuck with the G logo and won't turn on.

Given that your device is stuck on the G logo, it suggests it's a Google Nest display. To clarify the situation and provide you with the accurate steps, I'd like to ask the following:

  • What is the specific model and generation of your Google Home device? Here’s a helpful article about how to identify the model of your device.
  • When did the issue begin?
  • Is the device plugged directly into a wall outlet or surge protector?
  • Are other devices able to receive power from the same outlet?
  • Is the official power adapter that came with the Google Home device being used?
  • Was there any type of electrical outage around the time the issue began?
  • Would you mind sharing a picture showing the stuck G logo on the Google Home device?
